Prudential Community Grants Program
Use of Funds Requirement:

Examples | Back to school backpack drive | Organize and execute neighborhood  clean ups | Overhead cost including staffing and fixed expenses |
To support programming costs for basketball camp | To commission a community mural |
Who can apply: Newark residents, Newark-based organizations, and Newark-based small businesses with an operating budget under $500,000, additional parameters include:
Individuals/Organizations can only submit one application (small business owners must apply as an individual)
Previous Prudential Community Grant Program awardees are eligible to apply, however, all other Prudential grantees are ineligible.
Individuals/Organization/Businesses must create neighborhood level impact in the city of Newark
Applicants must be willing to share impact stories as a result of the funding to include: photos/videos
Applicants must be able to identify how the funding will be utilized
Applicants will require a community resident to provide a Statement of Community Support
