Newark Alliance Live Local Programs

The Live Local Program provides one-year incentives for eligible participants to rent or renovate homes in the Downtown Newark Area. New and existing renters that are eligible for the program can receive up to a $4,000 allowance towards the cost of their housing, and eligible homeowners can receive up to $7,000 for approved exterior improvements.

Interested first-time renters must be willing to sign a new lease within the program area. Interested renewing renters must have an existing one-year (or more) lease, with at least seven months remaining on it.
