Volunteer Opportunities

NJ Tree Foundation: The Renaissance Trees Program

All tree planting events are 9am-12pm unless otherwise noted, rain or shine. Tools and gloves will be provided. We are capping volunteers for each event, volunteer groups will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Events are open to the general public and are suitable for all ages.

4/5 - Brick City Rowing, Newark - 20 trees

4/25 - Arbor Day at Military Park, Orange - 12 trees - 20 volunteers needed

5/10 - Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Newark - 20 trees - 50 volunteers needed

5/17 - New Jersey Regional Day School, Newark - 12 trees - 30 volunteers needed

5/22 - Branch Brook Park, Newark - 12 trees

TBD - Wilson Towers/Darcy Street, Newark
